2008 Season Guidelines for Cruise Ship Guests
Welcome! Here are some details...
Pick up is at the gate to the cruise ship complex and will be thirty minutes to one hour after your ship's official arrival time. There is about a five minute walk to the "gate." Transportation to and from the port gate is part of the package. We have a clean and comfortable Suburban and it will take about 5 minutes to drive to the harbor.
Snacks will be provided on board and may include smoked salmon, cheeses, crackers, chips, snack bars, and cookies. Beverages such as bottled water, soft drinks and juices are also provided.
There is a clean and comfortable head on board.
Fishing licenses can be purchased on board the boat. Non-resident licenses are $20.00 for a one day license and $10.00 for a king salmon stamp (if the fish are in and you are interested in trying for a king salmon.) (There many be changes from the state of Alaska before the summer.) Children under 16 years of age do not need a fishing license or king salmon stamp.
Any fish
caught and retained will be filleted or processed as per your request
by the captain and then delivered to the processors for vacuum
sealing, freezing and delivery to your address after you have arrived
home. These services are an additional expense and a sheet with
these rates is available on the boat. Some
guests choose to donate their fish to the local senior center or simply
"catch and release." It will be up to you!
Daily rates for whale watching are $165.00 per person and for fishing it is $180.00 per person. We will spend 4 - 5 hours on the water but can adjust the trip to your schedule if your time is shorter.
A deposit of $50.00 per person or $100.00 for a group is required to hold the reservation. Reservations cancelled 2 weeks prior to the ship arrival will be refunded. If we feel the weather is really horrible and the fishing or whale watching will not be of the quality we expect, we will still plan to meet you, discuss the situation, and a full refund of deposits will be made if you decide not to go on the boat that day.|
