The Glacier
Wind
Our boat is a 35' Terry Jason lobster yacht. A downeast style
lobster boat, built to workboat standards in Maine, we purchased the
boat in 2004 in Portland, Maine and had it trucked across the country
to Anacortes,
Washington. After a short time in a yard there where some
refit
work was done to make it ready for charter, we ran the boat from
Anacortes to Hoonah.
The boat has a spacious
cabin as well as a very roomy after deck from
which everyone can comfortably watch the whales and/or fish.
The head(restroom)
is second to none. Many of the ladies who
have come out with us note that it is equal to or better than the
accomodations on board the cruise ships. The cabin is heated
and
is always a warm place to get out of the elements on those special
"Southeast Alaska days." The Glacier Wind is
meticulously
maintained and cleaned. You will find the boat to be
exceptionally comforatable for up to six.
We have a full complement of the safety gear required by the coast
guard as well as all of the latest electronic navigation and
communication equipment.
