2012 Season Rates

Whale Watching / Wildlife Viewing	(3.5 - 4  hours)  $165.00 per person		(8 hours) $200.00 per person
Sport Fishing (4 person minimum)	(4  hours salmon only)  $200.00 per person.	(6 hours) $250.00 per person halibut and/or salmon	(8 hours) $300.00 per person

***  A 6.5% city of Hoonah sales tax is collected on all bookings.

A deposit of $50.00 per person is requested to secure a reservation.  Complete refunds of deposits will be made if reservations are canceled at least three weeks prior to the reserved date.   Deposits and payments can be made by personal check, cashiers check, travelers check or cash as we are unable to accept credit card payment.  Checks can be made payable to Glacier Wind Charters.

Fishing licenses and king salmon stamps are available on board the boat.  One-day licenses are $20.00 and king stamps are $10.00. We provide all of the gear and bait necessary for your successful fishing trip. 

Bag Limits.  Beginning in 2011, the daily bag limit for halibut is 1 fish less than 37" in length.  One king salmon per person per day with a season limit of two per angler.  Silver and pink salmon bag limit is six per person per day.

Packaging, freezing, and shipment of any fish retained will be arranged with you in person, at an additional cost, upon completion of the trip.  We will clean and fillet any fish you elect to retain and deliver them to the Huna Fish Company for freezing, vacuum sealing and shipment.   Shipping for cruise passengers is via FedEx.  Multiple day or non-cruise passengers generally take their fish with them as baggage.
