A visit to Southeast Alaska is not complete unless you have spent some time on the water enjoying the spectacular scenery, unmatched whale watching and wildlife viewing, or superior saltwater fishing.

Glacier Wind Charters brings all of these to you aboard the "Glacier Wind", a clean and comfortable, 35 foot, diesel powered lobster yacht. Our captain, Shawn McConnell,  has a lifetime of experience on the waters of Icy Strait. We know where to find the whales, and where the fishing is hot. We make every effort to see that your visit to Alaska is one that will return a lifetime of fond memories.  For those who would like to enjoy a stay of one or more days, we offer a guest cabin which can house up to six guests.

Full or half day trips originate from the harbor in Hoonah, a beautiful little fishing community located on the north end of Chichagof Island about 40 air miles west of Juneau.
